Christopher Bell - No. 95 Procore Toyota Camry Preview - Phoenix
Mar 3, 2020

No. 95 Procore Toyota Camry News and Notes:

Bell at Phoenix Raceway: Christopher Bell will make his first NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Phoenix Raceway this weekend in the No. 95 Procore Toyota Camry for Leavine Family Racing.  Bell has made five prior starts at the 1.0-mile track in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS).  In 2019 Bell had back-to-back pole starting positions and, in the fall of 2018, found his way to victory lane to lock himself into the NASCAR Playoffs in Homestead that year.

Truck Series Past at Phoenix: Bell has two previous NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) starts at Phoenix.  In 2017 he qualified on the pole and finished eighth after leading over half the laps and in 2016, Bell qualified fifth and finished seventh.

Auto Club Speedway Recap:  Bell started 22nd and was working on handling when his efforts were hindered by a loose wheel following a green flag pit stop.  The team had to make an additional green flag stop to change the loose right-front tire and in doing so lost a lap to the field.  Bell had worked his way into the "lucky dog" position when he started to have an engine issue.  On lap 80, Bell took the No. 95 Rheem Camry to the garage with what was later discovered to be a jack bolt from another car that came through the radiator.  The damage from the jack bolt drained all the water for the engine and ended the No. 95's day early at California.

Procore:  Procore, a leading provider of construction management software, first appeared on the hood of the No. 95 in 2017 and has continued to build on their program as they enter their fourth season with LFR. For more information visit: https://www.procore.com/

RACE INFO: The FanShield 500 at Phoenix Raceway begins at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, March 8, 2020. The race will be broadcast live on FOX, Sirius XM 90, and MRN Radio.

From the Cockpit:
Christopher Bell: "Phoenix is probably one of the races I've been looking forward to the most.  With the new rules package, it will be more similar to what we did in the Xfinity car and hopefully levels the playing field for all of us.  Phoenix is one I have circled for sure; it has been one of my best racetracks.  Restarts are crazy with the new configuration there, you are able to really short cut the track and get big advantages by running really low down the front straightaway, which is great until you get to turn 1.  It makes it really difficult but at the same time fans love it and it's really exciting too."
