From the Driver's Seat:

Regan Smith: "I’m really looking forward to Homestead this weekend.  It’s one of my favorite race tracks because of the different lines you can run there, as well as the fact that you need to move around as the tires get old and falloff because of wear the way that they do.  It presents opportunities for guys to really drive the cars, and it’s a track that is still very aerodynamic-dependent, so we’ll have to be conscious of that.  It’s one of those tracks that is just fun to race around.  These past eleven weeks have been a blast getting to be back behind the wheel of a car in the Cup series.  I want to finish it up strong for these guys on the No. 95.  We started off pretty hot together when I got into the seat, but it just seems like things cooled off for us a bit lately and we’ve been searching for the balance that I need in the race cars.  I’m hoping that we’re able to find that this weekend so that we can go out and maybe save a little momentum to end the season with."

From the Pit Box:

Jon Leonard: "Homestead is a track like no other on the circuit, so it’s really hard to have much to refer to in order to prepare for the race weekend other than past history. The good news is that we actually ran really well there the last few years, and we are essentially taking the same set-up back with us this weekend. It’s going to be a little bit different of a left-side tire than what we’ve run there in the past, and obviously the Camaro ZL1 body is different for us versus years past, but the fundamental set-up theories remain. Homestead is a little bit different from end-to-end, but not to the extent of Texas or Phoenix where you have to really compromise on set-ups. Most times you eventually end up running the line up along the wall, so it’s about having the stability to run up there, along with keeping the right-side on it throughout the race. It's been a couple of years since Regan (Smith) has last ran there, but the configuration hasn't changed in a while. We have some great driver data to look at, and we're spending time making sure all our T's are crossed and our I's are dotted to give LFR the best chance we have of getting a good finish for all our sponsors. I think everybody looks forward to going to Homestead to end the season, and the goal is always to end it on a high note."
