Leavine Family Racing, owned by Tyler, Texas-based businessman Bob Leavine and his wife Sharon, considers Texas Motor Speedway the team’s home track, and rightfully so. In total, the Leavine family has accumulated some 2,800 laps around the speedway in stock car driving experiences, which started as a birthday gift from Bob’s wife and a friend and ultimately lead to the creation of Leavine Family Racing NASCAR team.
In eleven races at the Lone Star State’s 1.5-mile oval, McDowell’s best finish is 30th, yet boasts a solid 17th place qualifying effort to his name. Leavine Family Racing shares its best result at Texas Motor Speedway with driver McDowell (30th) in five starts as an organization.  
Looking at the history of the No. 95 in NSCS, Leavine Family Racing is the only team to run the number 95 car at Texas Motor Speedway.
The No. 95 Thrivent Financial Ford will feature metallic red and gray incorporated into a fresh, new paint scheme for the Texas night race.

As they say, everything is bigger in Texas, and Ford Performance’s race results are no different. Ford has visited victory lane an astounding 12 times at TMS, in only 28 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at the speedway. 
The next NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event for Leavine Family Racing will be the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway.  The team secured a driver and team best 18th-place finish in the August 2014 Bristol race.
