Bob Leavine, owner of WRL General Contractors, LTD., was born in Tampa, Fla.. He graduated from University of South Florida in 1968 with a degree in Industrial Management. Two years after college, while employed by DuPont in Camden, S.C., Leavine got his first taste of racing and the meaning of being a NASCAR fan.
The year 1976 brought a new opportunity and adventure as Leavine and his wife, Sharon, relocated to New Mexico to start a construction company. They relocated again to Texas in 1985, and the 35 year-old business continues to prosper and reach new heights. Leavine’s skill and innovation, evident in his success in the business world, are proof of a competitive spirit, and a dedication to do whatever it takes to win.
The world of NASCAR has refueled this family’s passion to make an impact on the sport they love. During the 2010 season, as an entry into NASCAR, Bob Leavine was a sponsor in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Matt was born in Upstate New York and now lives just outside of Manhattan in Northern New Jersey. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of SL Green Realty Corp. (NYSE: SLG), an S&P 500 company and New York City’s largest owner of commercial real estate, overseeing the finance, accounting, tax, investor relations and corporate capital markets functions of the organization.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Matt serves on the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trust’s Best Financial Practices Council, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the FDNY Foundation and he has been a firefighter and EMT in New Jersey for more than 20 years.
Matt has been part of the ownership group of Leavine Family Racing since 2016.
Tom Williams was born and raised in Texas and currently resides in Brownsboro Texas. Williams achieved his Bachelors of Business Administration from University of Texas at Tyler in 1986. Williams is the Owner and President of Tommy Williams Drywall Co., Inc. TWD is a second-generation family business founded in 1954 by F.T. Williams, Jr. with its base in Tyler, Texas and a satellite office in the Dallas market. The company is one of the largest drywall contractors in the Eastern Region of Texas. TWD has been a sponsor since the inception of Leavine Family Racing. Williams joined the ownership group of Leavine Family Racing in 2016.
Tom enjoys ranching and hunting in his free time.
Jeremy comes to Leavine Family Racing with over 15 years of experience in advertising, marketing and sales. His experience on both the agency and brand side of business has allowed him to work on all sides of the sponsorship landscape. Most recently, Jeremy has worked for Best Buy and GMR Marketing after starting his career with Grey Advertising. He achieved his MBA in 2005 from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He and his wife, Andrea, have two kids, their daughter Lincoln and their son Graham. They enjoy traveling and vacationing at the beach as a family.
Todd returns to LFR bringing with him years of valuable sponsorship, marketing, and media experience. Within his career, he has developed marketing programs for large and small companies alike. He has worked in the industry with teams in the NCAA, NFL, NHL, and MiLB but finds his passion in growing businesses in the NASCAR arena. Originally from Ohio, he has his M.A. in Sport Management from Defiance College and his B.S. from Bowling Green State University. He and his wife Tara have two sons, Cole and Ethan and enjoys traveling, cooking, and participating in Spartan Races.
Carly is no stranger to racing as she grew up just south of Charlotte in Rock Hill, SC. After briefly turning laps in a race car, she wanted to take her passion for the sport and turn it into a career. Attending her all-time favorite school, Clemson University, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Sports Management. With an impressive resume of internships in IMSA and multiple NASCAR sanctioned series, Carly was asked to join Leavine Family Racing as the Public Relations Representative in 2017. When Carly's not at the race track, she is likely to be enjoying her three main hobbies. Carly refers to them as her "three S's" – sushi, shopping, and sports. As a Clemson graduate, she loves to keep up with the Clemson Athletics and support the Charlotte Hornets and Carolina Panthers.
Travis Mack comes to Leavine Family Racing after working with Hendrick Motorsports since 2004. While at Hendrick, Mack worked as a shock specialist for Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Mack climbed the ladder at Hendrick reaching the role of Car Chief in the Xfinity series, winning a championship in 2014 with Chase Elliott. Most recently, Mack served as the Car Chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the No 88 team. Travis is married to wife Lyndsay and they have two daughters together.
After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in Business Management, Michael moved to North Carolina to pursue a career in racing. Leavine raced for 4 years, including a brief stint in the ARCA Racing Series, before moving into the front office of Leavine Family Racing. Michael currently manages the team's shop production and creative content. When Michael is not at the track he enjoys "road tripping" and spending time outdoors with his wife Kenda.
